Anarki, Valve wouldn't do that. They would tell us the release date and keep delaying it just to tease us. (Just like Duke Nukem's been doing the past 15 years. I pre-ordered that 16 years ago and never got my money back xD)

Dear Mr. FakeFactory, first and foremost, great job and kudos. But now I ask for help. I just spent the past 4 days downloading the new CM 10.90 release (yeah, my internet sucks) Followed your rules but it didnt work, then I got the new update, still didnt work. I have a 64 bit system and am tried to run the mod with Steam completely turned off. I am still recieving the one error message " MountAppFilesystem". I would like to know if anyone else still has this problem and if they found out a way to solve it.

Did you follow the steps as in this install? My guess is that you did not install the SDKs. If you follow the method in that link it worked for me.

yeah, I followed those steps in order, however STEAM says it must validate my HL2 & CS:S files :( But I've been getting the dreaded "servers are currently to busy" popup. Hopefully once I get these things validated CM will work properly.

Yeah, I've been getting the same problems all night, not sure why, but tomorrow will hopefully be better. Verify all the SDKs and HL2, Ep1, Ep2, and maybe try to download CM through torrents as that's more likely to make sure the download was not corrupted.

try this idea of deleting ClientRegistry.blob in the steam folder it might work, if not just change the region

lol, yeah, I've deleted the client reg blob and changed directories two or three times. Still not getting through. But at least I'm not the only one getting the "steam servers to busy" message. It may be the servers are bogged down due to the number of big game realses like crysis 2 and such. Hopefully it will work tomorrow.

Try restarting Steam if you get the "Servers too busy" error, that always works for me.
