All you need is to double click "Activate Cinematic Mod Soundtrack.bat" which would be in the main CM2013 folder.

If it works, that .bat file will then be replaced by "Deactivate Cinematic Mod Soundtrack.bat"

I had to tell my firewall to ignore the .bat file from being sandboxed in order to make it work for me.

So it would seem that most of the CM2013 bugs have been fixed, but some still remain. They're certainly not game breaking bugs but some can possibly make the game harder than it should be.

These are all in EP0:

There is a combine stuck under the map near the beginning of map d2_coast_09 It's the building where you are attacked by rollermines. Several feet in front of it is a hill with trees on it and that is where the combine is under the map.

The AI of the antlions in map d2_coast_12 are borked where they seemingly refuse to follow you into that bunker that's lit up with red flares. They are instead stuck back in the open field where you were getting fired at by nested guns. This pertains to only backup antlions. If you manage to keep the ones earlier in the map alive they will enter with you but when they die new ones spawn way back in the map and just stay there.

The music that plays at the beginning of the Black Mesa East chapter aka map d1_eli_01 is never cued.

This is in EP1:

In map ep1_c17_02b after Barney gives you the crowbar and you progress a bit farther the game tends to crash to the desktop without any error messages.

These are all I've noticed through several playthroughs of all three episodes.

Just a small info before somone's wondering.

The GetsIO downloadpage, aka. the primary mirror, for CinematicMod recived a little styleupdate to integrate better with the cinematicmod mainpage.

HBAO doesn't look very good imo. HBAO+ in Nvidia Inspector (flag: 0x0000002C) looks way better and plays well. Just a heads up for anyone wanting better visuals. I know I've said this before but this mod is amazing!

Edit: Idk. There's quite a lot of AO flickering in certain areas. I'll see if I can improve it.

Edit 2: Nope, can't improve it. No AO is the best option.

Is there any way to completely disable ambient occlusion? I turned HBAO off but it's still showing in-game.. Do I need to restart the entire campaign for it to go away or something?

The main reason I want it disabled is because it's showing up through smoke and light. Does this use ReShade AO instead of ENB AO?


Edit: I tested it some more and now enabling HBAO in the configurator DISABLES it ingame.. I'm not sure why but at least I fixed it and that's all that matters..

There is a torrent of version 1.2, however you will still need to download CM2013_v1.2_to_1.24.rar from here to update v1.2 to v1.24.
