Just a quick bug It looks like the latest Kendra models v4 (the ones with the alternate hair) are missing what looks like specular maps on their faces:

The V3 models are fine. If someone could let me know how to acess the v4 and v3 vtm files I could probabbly fix it but i think the files are packed away now and I'm not sure how to access them

@FAKEFACTORY, an update on the missing v4 textures, I found the missing file. It's the v4/brooke phong map.

"models/REALKENDRA/FACE_phong_BROOKE"

that's the file path of the missing file from the vtm.

I'm not sure what the v3 phong map is called so if someone could at least tell me the file name of the v3 models than I can use that as a temp. Otherwise you can also comment out that line to get rid of the squares but it'd be nice to have it fixed.

EDIT:

For now I've swapped "FACE_phong_BROOKE" with "FACE_phong_V2" in the .vtm files and it seems to work fine, I'm not sure it's that's what v3 is using but it looks fine in game now. If anyone else needs help, this is how I fixed it. If you need me to explain it more than just let me know.

Hello all

Ok, so from what I understand update 1.2 has removed the soundtrack (for whatever reasons).

Before I update to version 1.2 from 1.01, can I ask:

(a) What files should I keep from version 1.01 in order to retain the soundtrack, and where should they then be copied too?
(b) Would these files conflict with version 1.2 for any reasons?

hi,

when driving through the tunnel at Highway 17 (map d2_coast_04) after the 2nd attack of the combine ship, I'm getting the loading screen and then i'm back to the main menu. any ideas why this happen? Maybe i should avoid coast sequence at night?

Cinematic Mod 2013 is patched to 1.22
Coast sequence at night is enabled in the configurator

so has anyone been able to extract the deleted soundtrack and upload it , that would be really nice

For those who didn't see, there is a new update. 1.24 It is a bunch of fixes. Check the OP to see the change log. Files at the usual place.

Wonderful job, FAKEFACTORY! I had found some of these bugs and posted about them and it's incredible that they were fixed right away.

Looks like I was a little late with the bugbait freeze in EP0. I found it doesn't always freeze when you throw it at a friendly NPC.

I started a new chapter at Follow Freeman and threw the bugbait at the first NPC and it didn't freeze. However, I started a new chapter at Entanglement and when Alex says "Hold it right there!" I threw it at Alex and the game froze.

About that bugbait freeze, I just tried throwing it at Alex and it passes right through her and the game no longer freezes.

Was that too fixed?
