Just overwrite the old files with the new ones in this archive. This should fix the heavy framedrops on some outdoor levels.


WOW thanks FAKEFACTORY Godbless! I will try this right now. So this fix disables the dynamic shadows on certain levels right?
I noticed the dynamic shadows on outdoor levels are a complete performance killer but they look very nice indeed. I guess its time to upgrade video card. Your cinematic mod really pushes my GTX 275 in some parts!

EDIT: The fix is great! While the fps still drops quite a lot when using flashlight on highway 17 beginning of level (i play with 4x msaa and supersampling) the biggest issue where the game becomes unplayable after coming out the first tunnel on highway17 level is fixed :D

My web host for baldknobby.com must have put the brakes on with my downloads. I can only download at 300kbs which is wrong. I'll have to see whats up. Sorry. Here is a torrent I started.
